After Tim’s controversial confrontation earlier this week at Pattaya Police Station, and a barrage of media coverage surrounding the robbery of his apartment, Pattaya Police Chief Colonel Supatee, also a Deputy Commander of Chonburi Provincial Police, announced that he has reported the recent incident to his superiors and is conducting an investigation in conjunction with Chonburi Immigration.
Colonel Supatee indicated that this could ultimately see the Shark deported from Thailand, as he is considered by police a “Danger to Society”.
Colonel Supatee explained that as part of their investigation, when police searched an apartment belonging to Mr. Ward, a “pipe”, commonly used to ingest narcotics, was found. He also acknowledged Tim’s claim that 1 Kilo of Gold and 1 Million Baht in cash was stolen by Police during their visit and the allegations that narcotics were “planted” by Police during the raid.
What’s obvious in this announcement is that the police are taking a different storyline in this matter. As we know, Tim called the police to his apartment following a suspected break in. Yet now the police are saying they raided his apartment as part of an investigation into his activities.
Police Colonel Supatee also referenced numerous offensive remarks made to police officers, and highlighted his concern that Tim carries a knife, something that has yet to be proved.
What’s clear is that the police want this to go away. It paints a bad picture of the Pattaya police and Thailand in general. This is massive news in Thailand because no person has ever stood up to the police in this way, and the fact that it has taken a foreigner to do it makes Tim’s bravery all the more remarkable.
Keep following for updates.
Keep up the good fight.
